On September 7, 2011, The Occupy Movement began as a protest against economic inequality. Over the months that followed, other cities, large and small followed suit, setting up camps and letting their voice be heard: “We are the 99%.”
“Occupy (The Fear)” documents the occupation at City Hall Park (later referred to by protesters as Solidarity Park) when Los Angeles City Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa ordered 1,400 police officers to evict the peaceful protesters using scare tactics and excessive force.
